Hi! I’m Oliver.

Scuba is my passion and it has taken me to many beautiful places in my life. I even had the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of mine and dive in the Galapagos Islands.

I want to share that dream with as many people as possible, which is why I started Orange Octopus. I’ve been diving for almost a decade and teaching since 2022 and did my Instructor training on the beautiful island of Utila, Honduras with Utila Dive Center (UDC).

Now I train divers every week in Eldersburg, Maryland in a shop that’s staffed exclusively by veterans and public safety divers who support that community and whose only mission is teaching people to be great divers. As a veteran myself, I enjoy working with the community. If you’re a disabled veteran or know one ask me about grants for free classes.
